We respect your privacy by design. All personal wellness data—including daily mood entries, journal reflections, sleep records, hydration logs, custom routines, and physical activity—is stored 100% locally on your device.
Your local database is encrypted using SQLCipher with cryptographic keys managed via Android's native Keystore. We operate no external databases or servers that collect, store, or sell your health metrics.
To provide step-counting and habit tracking, My Fitness asks for runtime permission to access the device's hardware motion sensors:
ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION: Required exclusively to read step counts directly from your hardware step sensor. Step data remains local and is never shared with third parties. The free tier of My Fitness uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements (Banners, App Open, Rewarded Ads, and Rewarded Interstitials). Google AdMob may collect anonymous device identifiers, network state, and usage metrics to serve contextually relevant ads according to their policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's Google Settings, or remove all ads permanently by subscribing to My Fitness Pro.
Data exports (CSV or PDF summary reports) are generated locally on your device. You have full custody and control over where and with whom you share exported files.
